Graycliff, First Church of Nassau Ruin, Nassau, Bahamas

The exterior of the graycliff is rather unassuming. Looking at it, you really don't want to enter. Ate dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse which was actually quite a treat. The facility itself is eclectic and wonderful in virtually every respect. Formerly at the site of the Graycliff was the First Church of Nassau ruin, destroyed in 1703 during the Spanish occupation of the island.

Across the street from the Graycliff and no more than a block away from the Government House lies the below 'Colonial Wreck'

Turtles at Atlantis Resort

Atlantis has a fantastic aquarium, not the least of which is the ability to get relatively close to the wildlife. Here we have a picture of some of the resorts turtles.

In this picture is the view from Luciano's of Chicago, taken in February 2013, note the construction of what will be a boardwalk. The general area around Luciano's needs some work, but the restaurant itself is fantastic.

Waves hitting seawall on Bay Street in Nassau, Bahamas

Bay Street comes fairly close to the water, such that good size waves can spray the actual roadway. Standing on the nearby beach, I waited for a wave to make an invasion of the roadway. Picture taken Monday, February 18th, 2013. Imagine this scene during bad weather!
