While walking on Route 23 North, I took these photos.
In the above picture I am looking down the hillside at Stone House Brook from Route 23 North in Butler, NJ
The above two pictures show the relative position between the Ford and Chrysler dealers of where I was taking the first picture. I pinpointed it on google as well.
Walking a little bit further up Route 23, the highway offers pedestrians an overpass to get to the other side of the highway. Since I was going to pick up my car on that side of the highway, it made perfect sense to cross there in safety. The relative height offered a fairly rare view of Route 23 and permitted me to take a photo looking both North and South.
