What's interesting about this particular bill is that it really isn't altogether worth that much today, perhaps $5-$10 on a good day. What is notable is that the bill actually had considerable value on a fiat basis prior to WWI. Of course the post WWI inflation destroyed the value of all marks printed prior to that point, but in 1910, this note was not a common note by any stretch of the imagination, it is fairly large and cumbersome and on a fiat basis is worth between $250-$300 in 1910 US Dollars which at the time was a lot of money.
