Just prior to its confluence with the Pequannock River at Wanaque Avenue we see the Wanaque River at relatively low flow in the middle of a hot summer in July 2012 where drought conditions are prevailing.
The name of the bridge is the Julius Smith bridge but nobody will really know that. The road is Wanaque Avenue and the bridge will likely be known as 'that bridge on Wanaque Avenue'
